I have a different vision of what our current union culture is.  I want a culture of inclusiveness, where every voice counts and everyone trusts its leadership; a culture with an open communication style that we hear from not only when it relates to wages; a culture that educates their constituencies to remain updated on all the initiatives going on around campus.  A culture that keeps a constant outlook on the needs of its constituencies, so they can advance in the workplace.  A culture with a solid organizational structure that will guide current employees as well as employees to come.

In essence, a union that we can all be proud to be in!
