I was born in Juchipila, Zac. Mexico and raised in White City, Oregon. I moved to Eugene in 2004 to attend school at the University of Oregon and graduated in 2009 earning a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends, hiking, camping, running, traveling and cooking.

I started working at Lane Community College in November 2009 and have worked in various departments including the English as a Second Language department as an ESL Student Advisor, Workforce Development department as a Career Coach/Advisor and now currently work in the Office of Admissions as the Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator. My current role has allowed me to work, lead project/initiatives and build partnerships with other classified employees, managers and administration.

I have been an AFT-Oregon member here at LCCEF Local 2417 since 2012 and I am running for the Corresponding Secretary position, because I would like to see more representation, accountability and leadership in our union. If elected I will work alongside the union leadership team to create policies that will make our union more collaborative and efficient. A union that will be transparent and will always listen to the concerns of its members. If you believe in this kind of vision. Vote for me!
